Getting started

To open a Finvest account, you need to download our app on iOS or Android and sign up to get started.

To power your financial intelligence features, you can connect your external accounts (banks, brokerages, credit cards, etc.). This allows Finvest to analyze your full financial picture and deliver smart insights.

We use trusted, industry-leading account aggregators like Plaid and SnapTrade under the hood to securely connect your accounts. You stay in control of what you share, and your login credentials are never stored on our servers.

To create an investment account, you must complete KYC and meet the following requirements:

• Be 18 years old or older
• Have a legal residential address in the U.S
• Have a social security number
• Be a US citizen OR a US resident

• A US resident is someone who holds a Green Card OR  has been in the US for at least 31 days during the current calendar year and at least 183 days during the last 3 years
• U.S. visa holders can open a Finvest account as long as you meet the US resident test
• U.S. citizens living abroad can open a Finvest account as long as you have a valid U.S. address

Once you’re approved, you’re ready to start investing.
